The Unsaid Words is inspired by the need people have to follow rituals, and reflects on the changing relevance of rituals over time. The work employs a text from the artist’s journal and ephemeral materials (i.e. turmeric and vermillion) which are used in almost all Hindu rituals to create a traditional object – the Dupatta (Veil).
