The 'Constructed' Landscape

The 'Constructed' Landscape 1. Toilet Window, oil on canvas, 30 X 30 cm 2. Kitchen Window, oil on canvas, 30 X 30 cm

The 'Constructed' Landscape is a two series painting entitled 'Toilet Window' and 'Kitchen Window'. It invites the audience to view through the artist own HBD flat windows where she lives in. The concept of viewing at a constructed building such as the HDB flat while being in itself is her main focus. She had also chosen the windows in her bathroom and kitchen as her subjects as they are the 'forgotten areas' in a home. These are some of her observations made by her while studying the concept.
